Bridey likes to take pictures.

Bridey loves to takes pictures of herself with the cameraphone. She does it all the time, and take some "artistic" pictures of her tongue and nose and things. They are funny sometimes. These are three she took a little while ago when I thought she was sleeping. They are dark because her room was dark since she was "sleeping". lol The things kids do when they get bored.

Bridey home sick

Bridey came home from school yesterday with the stomach flu. Spent all last night throwing up and most of today sleeping.
She said she must of gotten it from her teacher who came to school sick. Aren't they suppose to call off when they are sick so they don't make the kids sick???? Or does that make to much since?

Jakey has turned two.

My little guy is no longer a baby. :( He's a toddler. He turned 2 years old yesterday.

We had a little party at home for him on Saturday evening. (I still have to upload he pictures from my camera but I have gooten the ones John took with his phone on the computer a little while ago)

Our sunday was busy so we celebrated together on Saturday night. So sunday we went to my mom's. Had a little party. My biologicl mother, sister and niece came in from Ohio and my Aunt Cindy, Aunt Mick and cousins, Dusty and his wife was there and cousin Bev and her other half and daughter were there along with my ma and pa of course. It was nice. Then off ot John's mom and dad's. We had dinner which was awesome. Then the kids went and played for a while, then desserts and presents. It was pretty nice as well. It was a lovely day. tiring but lovely.

These are the pctures john took with his phone. They were taken out at his mom and dad's. The last picture is of Bridey and Jake with their cousins, Alex, Josh and Nathanael.

My kids are growning up to fast!!

My baby will be two years old on Sunday and Bridey will be 10 in a month.
Bridey has even started shaving her legs. Talk about growing up to fast. I was going to make her wait until 7th grade when I was allowed to shave......but she wouldn't wear shorts or skirts most of the summer because she didn't want anyone to see her hairy legs. That made me remember how I felt about my hairy legs when I was little and so I gave in. The poor girl takes her hairyness after me. I felt bad so I gave in. I am not letting her use a regular razor yet though. I have her using an electric razor. She doesn't feel bad about being hairy anymore, lol she is happy now. I am glad she is happy, I just am alittle sad that my baby is shaving already. :(

Basketball, choir, band and track. oh my

Well it has started already this year. Bridey tried out for the b-ball team and made it. Not sure if I am happy or not yet. I guess it is a wait and see if the grades stay up or fall because of it. She has been told if her grades fall this year there will not be anything like basketball, choir or track. If they grades drop or she doesn't want to do her homework then we will pull her from the team.
She is so excited though. She wanted to be on the team last year but didn't make it, she has been practicing and had John actually teach her the rules since last year. I heard she did good.
She also has made choir again already. and she is wanting to join band but I'm not sure if that one will come about, I don't want my ears to suffer. lol
Then this spring there will be track to see about. Oh I just love becoming a taxi every school year. Joy, Joy.

Labor Meme

How long were your labors?
Bridey - 9 hours
Jake - 0 hours ---didn't go into labor with him.
How did you know you were in labor?
well with Bridey I had a dr's apppointment ont he 5th at 4pm and when I went in my blood pressure was way up and they checked my urine and say I had preclamsia(sp) and admitted me into the hospital to be induced at 6 am the next morning. After i got to the hospital and signed in and put on the monitor the nurse came in an hour or so later and told me i was having contractions that the monitor was picking up. I didn't start actually feeling them for quite a few hours after they told me I was starting labor on my own. So I actually started labor around 5:30pm didn't start feeling anything until around 10 pm. and she was out by 2:51am. With Jake I had a c-section so, no labor.
Where did you deliver?
Camden Clark for both.
Drugs?
I had an epidural fpr bridey and some kind of a pain block for Jake...i couldn't feel anything from my arms down.
C-section? Yes for Jake. The stubborn little thiing was breech and would not turn for anything!
Who delivered?
Dr Sims for Bridey who was great (recommed by Lawanda) and Dr Filosoft for Jake who was very awesome, i liked him alot.
