John was released from the hospital today. The echo cardiogram was fine. The cardiologist wants to bring him in to do a nuclear stress test as soon as they can schedule it. They were thinking of doing a heart catherization but so far that is on hold since the echo was good. His family doctor is saying that as far as she knows, when John gets hot or stressed normally his ventricle (sp) vessels are suppose to open and release more blood flow to maintain or cool you down but with the medication John is taking the vessels aren't working they way they are suppose to. She said there isn't much he can do about it except when he starts feeling that way to sit down and try to relax for awhile until he starts feeling better.
They did tell him to start taking an aspirin a day and a cholesterol pill I think he said it was zocor. that puts him up to 6 pills a day now. So I guess in the next two weeks he will have a few more doctor visits and follow ups, then maybe he will know what the score is.
