It was worse

It was even worse than I thought the track meet was going to be last Monday. So cold and rainy!! UGH! Thank goodness nobody seems to have gotten sick from it! Bridey is on the relay team and they did pretty good.... well at least 3 of the 4 girls did.
The first leg girl was great, she is the fastest on the team and had them at a pretty good lead by the time she handed off to the second leg, which was Bridey. She kept them in the lead until she handed off to the 3rd leg, who was so slow that by the time she handed off to the 4Th leg they were in last place! The 4Th leg girl tried her best and finished in 5Th place. I was very proud of Bridey. She was very good and so happy that she did good that she talked non-stop about it all the way home......called her dad at work and told him and was still talking about it the next day. lol
They had a second meet on Thursday of this last week and did good the relay team still didn't place but was okay. The weather was like night and day from Monday to Thursday. John took the evening off work to watch the meet on Thursday since he has hardly seen Bridey since he works from 3pm till 11pm and she was so excited about the first meet that he just had to see it.
I am upset about not getting to take any pictures. I didn't have enough hands the first time trying to hold Jake and an umbrella. The second meet Jake had fallen asleep on me before Bridey ran so I couldn't get up and take any then either.
