Social studies fair

Well thank goodness it is over! i never thought it was going to end. That is all we did for over 2 months......well they got honorable mention. not bad.......it was first time at a social studies fair and first time at county level. I am very proud of them. So now on to other things........concentrating on other school work she has been neglecting and it is time for track tryouts again.

Grey Hair

I can not stand grey hair. I had a few strands after I had Bridey but I am very grey now......I blame John. lol But really all the stress over the last year and a half with his health and our money problems....I have gotten old. UGH!!! I've been putting off dying it especially since I didn't want to spend the money on it right now but i think soon.....soon I'll have to dye it. sigh.........

jakes dr's appointment

Jake had his 18 month check-up today. The people at the Dr's office make me so mad!! Last time we were in there, they said he needed shots this time......so we were expecting shots, He didn't end up needing them. He wont need them again until he is 4. then they had to do a lead test again. Well last time the did the lead test it took them 5 tries to do it and the poor baby cried his little head off. This time they tried it 3 times and still didn't get it, we have to take him to the hospital to have the blood drawn. They tortured him finally we said that was enough and they said oh if we can't do it let's send him to the hospital. If your not good enough to do it in the first place DONT torture the baby and keep sticking him, send him to someone that knows what they are doing in the first place. UGH!!

Jake had a blast

Jake and Bridey had such a good time yesterday playing outside. We walked up to the school to get Bridey, Jake walked all the way up, John carried him most of the way back. When we got back to the house John had to leave for work and we stayed outside until 6pm. Jake played wih his toys on the porch and we took two more walks and then the played onthe trampoline with Bridey. They had lots of fun and he was so worn out by the end of the day it was great he even sleep in an extra hour this morning. yeah!!

It's so nice out

It feel Wonderful outside today, I wish it would stay this way but alas we are expecting strong storms tonight and a flood watch. UGH!! But it was just lovely today to have the front and back doors open and we are going to walk up to the school to get Bridey instead of driving. Which Jake will LOVE!!

We are all doing better, Bridey is busy working on her social studies project to get it ready for county on the 13th. John's busy working whoohooo! and jake and I are relaxing around the house and he helps me (as much as an 18 month old can) with the house work. I also have a new project underway but dont' want to say more about it until I see what i can make of it. Not sure quite yet if I can get it off the ground. But we will see......
