Social Studies Project
Bridey teamed up with a friend of hers to work on a social studies project. They did it on John's mom and dad's property, they have records back to 1855 of the people who owned it before. There is also a graveyard on the property, that has an infant , a little girl of the family that lived there in 1855 and a civil war veteran buried there. it was very interesting to do and the girls had fun. They did their project today for the school fair and they won and are now moving on to county. We are very proud of them.

That sounds like an AWESOME project! Man, I would say that could go on to State! WOW! How cool is that?!?!?!
it is a very good project, her teachers are thrilled with it and are predicting state. so we are crossing our fingers. well and adding a little more info....john set up a meeting this week with the girls and a guy that works for the historical society and does all the reinactments for the civil war. so hopefully they will get alot of good stuff there. they got 99 out of 100on there judges score cards, her teacher said that was the best anyone has ever done at martin school since she had been there.
